Jessie Shaw

Jessie Shaw is a graduate of Tri-State College of Acupuncture ( www.tsca.edu ) where she received a Master of Science degree. She had many wonderful teachers there, to whom she is very grateful - Dr. Mark Seem, Kiiko Matsumoto, Arya Nielsen, Lorie De Char, Patsy Roth, Dr. Helen Zhang, Andy Gamble - to name but a few. For the past two years, she has supplemented her basic education by studying classical approaches to acupuncture with Jeffrey Yuen and Elisabeth Rochat de la Vallee - both scholars of classical texts written over 2,000 years ago. She plans to continue these studies.

Prior to studying Chinese medicine, Jessie worked in advertising. She has a B.A. in music from the University of Southern Colorado , and an M.B.A. in marketing with a minor in statistics from NYU's Stern School of Business. She will soon have a chapter published in a new Self Relations psychotherapy text that reflects six years of study with Stephen Gilligan, Ph.D., a protege of Milton Erickson.
